FACILITY INFO, BENEFITS AND RULES

SAFETY RULES

• This facility may be not have staff present at all times.  It is VERY IMPORTANT to be cautious at all times.  YOU ARE HERE SPECTATING AND PARTICIPATING AT YOUR OWN RISK.
• Call 911 in the event of an emergency. There is a first aid kit, AED, and fire extinguisher located at the front of the facility.
• Hitter MUST wear a helmet while in the cage
• 
  
• Pitching machine operator must be at least 14 years old
• Pitching machine operator must stand behind a safety screen
• Always test pitch location before hitting
• Only one batter and one operator are allowed in batting cage when machine is in use
• Nets must be kept closed while pitching machine is operational
• Players must pick up balls when finished
• ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST WEAR THE APPROPRIATE PPE for the activity they performing (ie. catching gear, batting helmet, facemask, chest guard, etc.) 
• IF you don’t know how to use a piece of equipment or machinery, do not use it!

GENERAL RULES

• You are spectating and/or participating at your own risk there is a chance of serious injury, illness and/or even death. By participating you understand these risks and agree to release INDIANA GRIND ACADEMY INC. And its employees from any and all liabilities. 
• Sneakers, tennis shoes, or turf shoes only (no cleats)
• Do not swing bat or throw balls outside of cage (unless instructed to do so by a coach)
• ANY DAMAGE TO THE FACILITY or its contents WILL BE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PARTICIPANT AND/OR LEGAL GUARDIAN AND PRIMARY RENTER.
• Always be alert and aware of balls and bats around you
• Treat the facility with respect; leave the space as you found it
• No gum, seeds, drinks (other than water), food, or spitting, PLEASE REPORT SPILLS IMMEDIATELY.  
• Absolutely no SPITTING ON THE TURF.
• Tobacco or Alcohol use is not permitted in facility
• All participants and instructors MUST have signed waiver on file

MEMBERSHIP RULES

• Access codes must not be shared.
• Family memberships are for immediate family members only, abuse of this will result in immediate termination of your membership with zero refunds or credit.
• Single memberships are for one athlete.
• Everyone utilizing the facility must have an account and a waiver signed.  
• All non-members joining with members are required to pay $10 a visit If the non-member is there utilizing the facility with a member, the member will be responsible for making sure they have paid and filled out a waiver. 
• Everyone entering the facility must check-in at the computer.

2. FREE UNLIMITED WALK-IN 24/7 access to facility, subject to availability, and reservations have priority. This includes access to the hittrax system.
